Excuse the poor quality, I took this with my phone.

The colorful vase is holding tacky fake flowers. They're a 'temporary' birthday present from my co-worker, Bob. In one day and one month it will have been a full year I've had the 'temporary' gift.

The glass one is holding used staples. My staple remover doesn't hold staples. I had been making little piles and then tossing them in the trash. That got annoying, and I'd always miss one or two. Enter the vase!
